Diane Scott,
RN, MSN has been a nursing leader during the past two decades. Throughout
her tenure as a leader, educator and nurse recruiter, she has devoted
the majority of her career to the mentoring of nurses and nurse managers.
With her mentoring, many of her nurses have transformed themselves
into highly successful nursing managers and leaders throughout the
United States.
Diane Scott has been called a “recruiting genius”. She
has led many troubled areas out of staffing crisis and transformed
them into highly desired places to work. Most recently, she has been
featured on the cover of ADVANCE for Nursing and has published the
article “The Right Environment: Creating Great Places for New
Nurses to Learn and Grow”
Having worked and lived throughout the United States, Diane Scott
has been a nursing leader in inner city and rural hospital systems
in both academic centers as well as non-teaching facilities. Her
understanding of the intricacies for many different environments
comes from her varied experience on many front lines. Additionally,
she has years of teaching experience at several universities and
colleges. Her consulting experience includes work with architectural
and engineering firms throughout the country.
Diane Scott obtained
her Bachelor of Nursing Degree from the University of Pittsburgh
before completing a Masters Degree in Nursing from Duquesne University.
She currently resides in Richmond, Virginia with her husband, Craig,
daughter, Isabella and dog, Gaby.
